The Alembic Bass Superfilter SF-2 - if you've played thru one you know what kind of tone shaping magic it can do.
From the Alembic web site:
"The SF-2 Super Filter contains two tunable active filters of exceptional dynamic range. The filters can be configured individually as low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass. In the stereo mode, two channels are provided, each with a two channel mixer for combining the filtered and unfiltered signals. In an alternate mono mode, a three channel mixer combines the two filtered and one unfiltered signal paths, together with an input gain control. An instrument preamplifier with front panel input jack is also available for stand-alone use."
You can get the thickest dub sound that is also in perfect high fidelity, an insane slap sound, or guitar-cutting midrange that always sound good. I used it as EQ on bass guitar in a recording studio as well as running it in the effects loop of a F1X, but it can be used as a bass preamp as well (inputs on front and back). There is a learning curve you have to go thru, make sure you read the manual as well as threads on talkbass on it, but once you get it you can go from tubby upright to slap attack monster with a few knob changes.
In Excellent condition - some rack scrapes but nothing on the front panel. Not the original power supply.
