Holton 608 Super Collegiate 1958 - (Courtois-style external top-sprung pistons) Bi-metal bell with red brass stem and nickel flare and yellow brass body with nickel accents

This is a Vintage 1958 Holton 608 Super Collegiate trumpet with a unique tricolor finish and warm, rich tone. It had an original patina from 68 years of use. The tricolor finish is bimetal red brass stem with nickel bell and yellow brass body. It comes with a new trumpet case and Vincent Bach 10 1/2C mouthpiece. You can’t beat the build quality of these old horns! It was recently chemical cleaned, play-tested, serviced and had all corks/felts replaced by a professional musical instrument repair shop on 5/27/2026. It has cosmetic dents and dings with worn lacquer spots, but is in complete working order ready to be played and enjoyed.
