TouellSkouarn Distresañ is a 3 Bands Stereo Cut/Boost EQ module. This EQ is suitable for various applications including, tone shaping, mixing, mastering, and live sound reinforcement.

Distresañ uses Baxandall shelving filters, known for their smooth and musical response. These filters allow for boosting or cutting of frequencies below (bass) or above (treble) certain points, then you can also add or remove medium frequencies (fixed at 1kHz). 

This EQ is particularly effective for overall tonal shaping and balance adjustments, rather than surgical frequency corrections. This type of equalisers is known for its natural-sounding and smooth frequency response, similar to the tone controls found in hi-fi systems. These equalizers are often praised for their ability to shape sound without introducing unwanted artifacts or distortion.
