The 2013 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Plus is widely celebrated as a purist’s guitar, featuring a striking solid, non-weight-relieved mahogany body and a gorgeous AA-grade flame (plus) maple top.
It delivers the authentic feel and rich sustain of vintage '50s models, driven by dual '57 Classic humbuckers.
Core Specifications:
Body: Non-weight-relieved mahogany back with a carved AA figured ("Plus") maple top.
Neck: Mahogany with a rounded late-'50s profile.Fretboard: Bound rosewood with traditional trapezoid inlays and 22 cryogenically treated medium frets.
Pickups: Gibson '57 Classic (neck) and '57 Classic Plus (bridge).
Electronics: Hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors, individual volume/tone controls, and a 3-way toggle switch.
Hardware: Chrome Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and TonePros vintage-style tuners.
