Chameleon Labs 7721 Stereo VCA Bus Compressor — Excellent Condition

It's a serious, fully-featured VCA bus comp: stepped threshold/attack/release/ratio, switchable Peak/RMS detection, Soft/Hard knee, a sidechain high-pass to keep the low end from pumping, a wet/dry Blend knob for instant parallel compression, and a dedicated input gain stage so you can drive the relationship between your signal and the threshold exactly where you want it. Low noise, big musical VU.

In my opinion, it smokes all the warm audio shit and plugins for sure. There's an analog vibe that can't be fully translated into words. I mostly used this on my drum bus, and it absolutely ruled. Most of my work is dialogue/promo mix clients now, and they need perfect recall, so It's time to say goodbye, but if you're mixing cool music shit, you want this.

Condition: fully functional, every switch and pot clean and working, VU reads true. Lived its whole life rack-mounted in a treated, climate-controlled, smoke free home studio — never gigged, never moved around, never abused. Cosmetically great, there's some small rack rash and a scratch on top, but fully covered when it's in the rack. Comes with a power cable, but I don't have the original box. I do have boxes from all kinds of gear I've bought on Reverb, so it will come well-protected.
