Up for sale is a vintage Squier Stratocaster electric guitar. This guitar came in pretty rough. A previous owner had "re-painted" it with house paint, but poured it on; not sprayed or brushed. We were able to get the majority of the paint removed with elbow grease and various solvents, and it's back to its black finish. It is in fair cosmetic condition, with scratches, dings an some paint residue remaining, but there are not structural issues with this guitar. The neck is straight, the tuners work as they should, and pickups seem to be working (tapped on them through an amplifier and got sound). We are selling this guitar AS IS, for parts or repair, due to being unable to find a replacement tremolo block that will work with the guitar's screw pattern and string spacing; without drilling new holes in the guitar. The original tremolo block had lots of structural cracking in it, and when we took it out, it fell apart in the tech's hands. The guitar was made in 1987, in South Korea, serial number E750947. The backplate, tremolo springs, saddles and screws are included. Check out the pictures. No case included.
