The Korg Cliphit (model CH-01) is a portable, high-tech electronic drum module that turns everyday surfaces (like magazines, desks, or practice pads) into a playable drum kit. It features three sensor clips, a kick pedal, 11 built-in drum kits, and runs on AA batteries for ultimate mobility.
Key Features
- Sensor Clips: Includes three clips with internal sensors that can be attached to almost any object to trigger realistic drum sounds (snares, hi-hats, cymbals).
- Pedal Control: Comes with one footswitch to control kick or hi-hat sounds, with an extra input available to add a second footswitch.
- Surface Playing: You can also strike the top of the main unit itself with your hands to trigger percussion or snare samples.
- Preset Variety: Built-in with 11 different kit combinations, covering standard acoustic drums, hand percussion, and even fun sound effects like dog barks and hand claps.
- Portability: Can be powered by 4 AA batteries (yielding about 6 hours of playtime) or an optional AC adapter.
- Connectivity: Equipped with a built-in 2W 3-inch speaker, a headphone jack for quiet practice, and an AUX input (stereo mini jack) to jam along with your favorite tracks.
