Here we have a very nice 1994 Europa 6-String Fretless with side LED and lined fret markers. The translucent finish is over a maple top. I had this bass custom made for me in 1994, it plays and sounds amazing. Due to arthritis, I’m not able to play the wider necks anymore. I purchased the RF chip upgrade in 2025, so that is installed, sounds great. I bought a new replacement case from Alembic in about 2017 as the original one had seen better days (new one included). The finish has a couple minor nicks, but pretty pristine for it’s age. The side LEDs and lined fret markers are a great plus for the fretless. I put a new set of DR Black Beauties on it, 30-45-65-85-105-125. It's a slim neck profile, so it's an easy play on general for how wide it is, it's just a wide fretboard to accommodate all 6 string. The single 9V battery is for the main active electronics. I put fresh batteries in all. The LED's require 4x9V's, that cavity looks green because originally I had Emerald Green, but at the time it was too bright for me, so I had it changed to the translucent black. Separate switch for the side LEDs on/off.
