Partially restored / partially working project unit.
PRICED ACCORDINGLY - Fully serviced units are going for $1500-$1800
This is a real Sequential Circuits Drumtraks Model 400 — one of the early MIDI drum machines from the mid-80s. Vintage electronic/synth gear collectors know what this is.
I opened it up, cleaned contacts/switches with DeoxIT, and got it partially functioning. Powers on and shows strong signs of life, but it still needs additional restoration/calibration from someone more experienced with vintage synth/drum machine repair.
Internals are clean and complete. Original wood side panels intact. Great candidate for restoration or studio use.
Cosmetically shows age/wear as expected for a 40+ year old unit. Sold as-is due to vintage electronics.
