This Next Generation Taylor revision to Taylor's 514ce platform, features the brand's new under-saddle Claria electronics system and bass rich Scalloped V-Class Bracing. First launched in 2018, Taylor's V-Class Bracing revolutionized the brand's sound with one of the most innovative advancements in steel-string technology in nearly a century.

The Western Red Cedar Top produces a warm intimate tonality that's tailor-made for finger style, flat pickers and strummers. The Scalloped V-Class bracing boasts low-end performance and results in a warmer, richer resonance. The Neo-Tropical Mahogany back and sides add midrange and irresistible blooming harmonic overtones.

The Claria under-saddle electronics system provides acoustic-accurate tunes and plug-and-play simplicity. This system represents the brands endless pursuit of acoustic-electric excellence. This newly introduced under the saddle piezo pickup system with a powerful preamp. The pickup performs without the typical piezo distortion while avoiding unwanteded frequencies with its clear and focused voice . The handy sound-hole mounted Volume, Tone and and Mid-Contour Controls are easily adjustable with the Claria's Mid-Contour Control offering a vast sweep of dynamic sounds to explore, from smooth, rhythm-ready warmth to a mid-range forward timbre that promotes lead playing and and fingerpicking to the front of the mix.

The Ebony Capped, satin finish, Mahogany Neck is formed in Taylor's always-comfortable Standard Carve profile. The long Tenon neck joint enhances your sound with a deep low-end resonance and a fuller-bodied tone.
