Looking for a new home is my vintage Altec 654A dynamic mic. Made in the US by Altec in the 1960s.
In great condition and clean for a 60-yr old mic; no dings, no dents, no abuse, ball is not damaged.
Sounds lovely. If I had to describe it, I'd say something like an SM-58 with a darker/warmer top and less proximity boom. Great off-axis rejection.
XLR pins are clean; no tarnish or rust.
There is a slight scuff on the center band near the model number/serial number; this is shown in the pics.
Comes with a Shure mic clip, as shown in the photos.
I do not have the original box, but the mic comes with a Shure zippered mic pouch, and will be double-boxed and extremely well-packed for shipment.
