The guitar is in decent cosmetic shape for an over 50 year old guitar. Some scuffs and scrapes. Biggest thing to look at are the cracks running through the top below the bridge. The top was repaired in the past but unsure exactly when. Was purchased over 10 years ago from the Guitar Bar in Hoboken NJ, and I believe they did the top repair prior to selling.

Action on the guitar is fairly high and it probably needs more than a simple truss rod adjustment, possibly a full on neck reset. With that in mind, the guitar is being listed as is and at a discounted price relative to current value and other listings.

Open chords sound great, bar chords can be a bit challenging higher up on the fret board, and while the action is high, there is minimal buzz in the upper register. From what I can gather it seems the guitar has had some other work done in the past on the saddle and truss rod by NYC based luthier, Matt Umanov, based on an old receipt found in the guitar’s case when purchased. Guitar is being sold with an unidentified hard shell case that fits the guitar comfortably.
