Gibson Custom 1963 Dove Reissue, Light Aged - Dark Natural

The Gibson 1963 Dove Light Aged from Gibson Custom and the Murphy Lab is a faithful recreation of one of the most iconic square-shoulder acoustics ever made. Originally introduced in 1962, the Dove quickly became a favorite among legendary artists for its bold tone, striking appearance, and unmistakable character.

This vintage-inspired model features a thermally aged Sitka spruce top with traditional scalloped X-bracing, paired with beautifully flamed maple back and sides finished in classic Cherry. The combination of the maple body and 25.5” scale length delivers the Dove’s signature voice — bright, full, and powerful with excellent projection. The mahogany neck sports a comfortable Round profile and an Indian rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays for a timeless look and smooth playability.

Classic Dove appointments include the iconic engraved pickguard with dove artwork, rosewood bridge with mother-of-pearl dove inlays, bone nut and saddle, and nickel Kluson® Waffleback tuners. The Murphy Lab Light Aged treatment adds the subtle wear and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument, giving this guitar the vibe and character of an original Golden Era Gibson.

Complete with a vintage-style black hardshell case, the 1963 Dove Light Aged delivers authentic Gibson Custom craftsmanship, premium tonewoods, and vintage-inspired style in one truly inspiring acoustic guitar.
