A 2020 Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom 1962 Stratocaster NOS in 3-Color Sunburst that captures the feel and tone of an early-’60s Strat with premium Custom Shop craftsmanship and carefully selected vintage-inspired specifications. Built with a sorted 2-piece alder body and rift sawn maple neck, this Strat delivers lively resonance, exceptional clarity, and smooth playability. The HW 62/63 Strat pickups provide classic bell-like highs, woody mids, and dynamic response, while the compound 7.25"–9.5" radius and medium vintage frets offer a perfect blend of vintage feel and modern comfort. Finished in thin NOS flash coat lacquer with no buffing, this guitar has an authentic broken-in aesthetic and highly resonant feel. This example is in very good condition with an impression on the back lower bout bass side and some scratches on the top.
