Today, for your consideration - a left handed 1979 Guild Starfire IV! Before we get into it, let it be known that this is a ppayer guitar that would be best suited for stage use. This guitar came in with a desperate need of some love. The neck binding was missing entirely. One of our favorite luthiers took it on and was able to rebind the neck and match it very close to the original binding of the body. He also resealed it with a fresh layer of clear coat. It feels wonderful, but is obviously worth mentioning. The frets are in great shape overall with some light wear, but every note plays as it should with no fretting out or dead spots. It is very fun to play and has a really unique sound for a semi hollow guitar. There is general checking all throughout and a touch up spot on the back where a flake of paint was sealed off. There is a dent on the cover of the neck pickup as well. The master volume pot is not pictured but we will install it prior to shipment. The original pickguard is included as well.
This is a great opportunity to get a vintage Guild at a price that doesn’t break the bank. The guitar will ship in a new TKL hardcase.
We always ship with tracking and insurance provided. All items are professionally packed to the highest standard possible.
