2000-2001 NYL-2 made in Japan during the vestax period Which is highly sought after for good reason. I really don’t want to sell this but gotta pay some bills.
Outstanding guitar. Plays like butter and sounds amazing. The only cosmetic damage to speak of is to the pick guard—though, the electronics are 100% in working order and the pick up is fine. No issues there.
If you’re inclined, W&D would likely do a custom replacement if you provide a tracing of the pick guard—not expensive
It could more than likely pass for excellent condition had a piece of the pick guard not broken off. Pretty uncommon for a vintage guitar
For a 25-26 year old guitar its finish is the most resilient I’ve ever seen and has held up exceptionally well. It doesn’t even look like an old guitar. It has little playing time and comes with the original case which is in decent shape—it has one latch that can easily be replaced.
