1931 Gibson L-0 12-fret acoustic, all-mahogany, with the early “The Gibson” script logo and double-bound body. A very responsive, lightweight pre-war Gibson with the dry, woody, immediate voice these early all-mahogany L-0s are known for.

This guitar is in very good playing condition for its age and has recently been professionally set up. Since I’ve owned it, Elderly Instruments performed a neck reset, and it has also received a hand-crafted bone nut and saddle. It is currently playing comfortably and is ready to be used as an instrument, not just displayed.

Condition is very good overall with expected vintage wear, finish checking, small marks, scratches, and general age-related patina. There is some slight bellying below the bridge, which is common on lightly built Gibsons from this period and has been stable in my ownership. The bridge appears to be a replacement, and the pickguard may not be original to the guitar. Tuners are era-correct replacements. Please review the photos carefully.
