You're looking at the rarest Toshiba Type G you can find with the NHK branding! This particular Type G, was built for NHK Broadcasting company which was and is the largest news broadcaster in Japan. Internally, it reportedly featured a higher quality transformer as well so it was a higher spec microphone compared to the ones sold to everyday consumers.

The Type G features a cardioid polar pattern and HPF filter switch that has lets you gradually cut bass. Cosmetically, this microphone is a beauty with the darker NHK paint job in pristine shape along with the NHK lettering. This would be the microphone for a collector in these older Japanese microphones, as these do not come around often or at all. The only negative on this older microphone is the cabling which is aging but has no damage, it does however have a bit of an old timey smell to it.

Besides that, the Type G has a nice smooth response, perfect for vocals, and has a wonderful balance overall. For cardioid use, the Type G easily rivals and can beat the RCA 77, it truly sounds that good. The Type G was the second ribbon microphone that truly blew me away, and I do prefer it to the 77! Toshiba was no slouch when it came to building high quality microphones, and I wish they still did.
