TALKING-S — Experimental Handmade Noise Synthesizer / Sound Box

A one-of-a-kind handmade experimental synthesizer built for noise, drone, and circuit-bent sound exploration. TALKING-S combines analog pulse generation, filtering, and built-in physical sound sources into a single compact instrument — perfect for harsh noise, dark ambient, musique concrète, industrial, and experimental electronic music.

What it does: Two independent pulse oscillators (P1 / P2) generate raw, gritty tones that can be mixed, modulated, and shaped through onboard filtering. Combined with the integrated long spring, contact-mic'd kalimba-style plate, and adjustable contacts, the instrument moves fluidly between bleeping rhythmic textures, screaming feedback walls, droning resonant tones, and acoustic-electronic hybrids. Every knob position opens a new sonic territory.

• VOL-P — Pulse volume
• VOL-D — Direct/dry signal volume
• P1 / P2 — Two independent pulse generators
• G1 / G2 — Gain controls for each generator
• PUL — Pulse character / modulation

• FILTR — Two-stage filter section (low + high cutoff)

Onboard sound sources:

• Long tension spring mounted on top — tap, scrape, bow, or pluck for reverberant metallic textures
• Contact pickup plate with elastic strings on the right side — bowable/pluckable acoustic-electronic element
• Spring contact terminal on the left — short two springs together with conductive objects for unpredictable triggers and shorts
• Star-shaped contact point — touch-activated triggering
