K.Yairi, a top brand that has continuously supported the world of Japanese folk guitars, continues to uphold handmade craftsmanship by a small, elite group of artisans in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture, both now and in the past.
Their craftsmanship is widely supported by top players worldwide, and their overseas export models under the name "ALVAREZ YAIRI" are favored by Paul McCartney.

This time, we're introducing the "DY-45," one of the most popular models in the Standard Series.

This model faithfully follows the Style-45 design, and with its abalone trim and rosette, combined with high-grade, tightly grained spruce, it's immediately clear that this is a luxurious and special instrument.

The sides and back are made of Honduran rosewood, a high-grade wood often considered a substitute for Brazilian rosewood. Its lighter color creates a nice contrast with the spruce top.

In terms of sound, it doesn't have that "brand new" freshness, in a good way.

It's light and mature, and the fact that it significantly shortens the process of "aging" it into a vintage instrument is a very positive point.

While the use of Honduran rosewood, which has a low oil content, may be one factor, Yairi Guitars' uncompromising guitar making, the final sound check, and the "craftsman's signature" after the sound check all demonstrate their absolute confidence in this sound.

[Playing Condition]
The neck is straight, and the string height is set at 2.7mm on the 6th string side and 2mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret.
There is approximately 5mm of saddle remaining, so the string height can be adjusted to your preference.
