Gibson Les Paul Pro Deluxe 1978 - Ebony
Heres a total ROCK machine! A killer Norlin Era 1978 Les Paul Pro Deluxe in a sweet ebony finish. These P90s sound great and can really rip. Normally the PRO models had P 90s with white pickup covers, but these black ones make this guitar even cooler. It weighs in at about 10.5 lbs typical for this era. Great feeling neck with ebony board and frets with plenty of life left in them. Truss rod works as it should. Missing the pick guard. The tuner screws on the D And G strings were broken off. Zoom in on the photo of the back of the headstock (before the fix and the boo boo). The D tuner has a replaced identical screw. The screw on the G tuner had to be drilled out and was filled with rosewood and the screw has a slightly bigger head on it.Both work perfectly👍. Now unfortunately while trying to clean the nicotine off the hard to read Made In USA stamp with rubbing alcohol, a dime size piece of the finish rubbed off exposing the natural wood and the stamp. Never had that happen before. It does have dings and dents with some stand rash As shown. Its a definite player and ,its been on the road and done some things. Comes with a nice hard case. So make an offer in this 70s rock beast 🧌and enjoy👨🏻🍳
