The Tannoy NFM-8 is a highly regarded vintage pair of 2-way passive nearfield studio monitors originally produced in the 1990s. They are famous in the audio engineering community for utilizing Tannoy's signature Dual Concentric (coaxial) driver technology, which aligns the high-frequency tweeter exactly in the center of the low-frequency woofer to create a singular point source
Perfect condition, I believe they're from the 90s. Always kept in their carrying cases which can be zipped together, and no signs of ever been used. Very desirable retro speakers that are coming back into style.
- Driver: 8-inch Dual Concentric transducer
- Frequency Response: 47Hz - 25kHz (≥≤3dB)
- Sensitivity: 93 dB (2.83 V@1 m)
- Nominal Impedance: 8 Ω
- Power Handling: 20 to 150W RMS (200W peak)
- Crossover Frequency: 1.7 kHz or 2.3 kHz depending on the revision (1st order low-frequency / cascaded 1st order high-frequency with impedance compensation)
- Weight: ~23 to 26 lbs each
They average anywhere from $350 to $600. This set are in amazing condition for the age but because of the weight to mail I've put the price low to be more affordable.
I may mail them out separately so less chance of damage to the cases.
