IK Multimedia TONEX ONE Double Special Limited Edition Effects Pedal

The TONEX ONE Double Special – Limited Edition is an ultra-compact, AI-based amp modeling pedal in an exclusive special finish. This limited edition encapsulates the signature sound of two legendary Dumble amplifiers in a compact format, combining state-of-the-art AI Machine Modeling™ technology with a carefully curated library of premium Tone Models.

For the Double Special Collection, two original Dumble amplifiers—bearing serial numbers #0038 and #0080—were meticulously captured in a professional studio environment. In total, the collection comprises 40 Tone Models, including 32 Amp+Cab and Complex Rig captures, as well as 8 Amp-only and Amp+Stomp models. Additionally, the TONEX ONE Double Special Limited Edition features 20 exclusive Premium Tone Models/presets derived from the same capture session, available exclusively pre-installed on the pedal itself.

The two amplifiers were recorded through custom 1×12 and 2×12 open-back cabinets loaded with Celestion G12-65, Celestion JB85, and Electro-Voice EVM12L speakers. Established studio microphones—such as the Shure SM57, Royer R-121, Neumann U87, and Sennheiser e609—were utilized for the recordings. Furthermore, for select sounds, legendary overdrive pedals—including the Klon Centaur, Ibanez TS10, and JHS Morning Glory—were placed upstream to create authentic, stacked lead tones.

In addition to the new Double Special Signature Collection, the ODS Legends Collection is also included, providing a further 20 Tone Models derived from four additional Dumble amplifiers. This provides access to an exceptionally extensive and sonically superior library of classic boutique amp sounds.

This Limited Edition model features an exclusive "Vintage Orange-Brown" special finish and is limited to just 1,000 units worldwide.
