Tokai Production Special Series Bass Neck Fretless MIJ 1980s w/ Tuners

This is a Tokai production neck of a special series fretless bass from the Tokai parts factory in Japan. There is no serial to determine the exact date of manufacture. This neck features a very distinct "batwing" style headstock and comes equipped with tuners. The truss rod functions as it should with plenty of room to move in both directions.

This neck does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout and the fingerboard is also starting to show some discoloration from over time. The hardware also has quite a bit of tarnishing and oxidation from over the years. It also appears that they started drilling neck pocket screw holes at the factory but didn't drill the fourth one.
