Up for sale is an exceptionally rare 1998 Jackson Roswell Rhoads Pro made in Japan, finished in the highly sought-after Midnight Blue Sparkle. Most MIJ Roswell Rhoads Pro models were produced in black, while only approximately 150 examples were made overall, making this blue sparkle version an incredibly hard guitar to find today.
This guitar features an alder body paired with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with distinctive pearloid Crop Circle inlays. The Roswell styling, combined with MIJ craftsmanship gives this guitar a 90's Sci-Fi feel. It would look right at home being played on the Holo-deck or by a Bith musician on Tatooine.
The guitar was entirely original, except we have upgraded the tuning machines to premium Gotoh 510 series tuners for improved stability and feel, requiring no modifications to the guitar. The original tuners are included in the case.
Personally, I would like to consider the condition "Excellent", but, realistically, very good overall for its age. There are 2 finish chips and 2 additional finish marks, all shown clearly in the photos. Some original hardware displays typical tarnishing/patina from age. The guitar plays great and presents extremely well.
Comes with the original hard case. Exterior condition is fair with cosmetic wear, while the interior remains in excellent condition.
This is a rare opportunity to own one of the more unusual and collectible Japanese Jackson models from the late 1990s.
