Soundtracs CM4400 38 channel

This 38 channel Sountracs CM4400 originally came from a studio in Estonia, and I purchased it in 2016 from a legendary engineer in Santa Cruz.

I have recapped most of it. The first sixteen channels have been modified with burr brown opamps, larger elna caps, mic input transformers, line input transformers, decoupling where applicable, and panasonic caps on the power rails. This desk has 12 subgroups, 4 if which are fully functional and have jensen outout transformers added to them. The other subgroups have issues from before my time owning the desk. Fixable by a good tech but it would be quite a project. Master bus was upgraded and has some jensen output transformers added. There are two master busses and they can be run in series or parallel. When in series you can "push" the one into the other and get some awesome saturation/limiting.

This also includes a blue dog power supply and all the edac cabeling for the patchbay. Even though only 4 subgroups are in complete working order you can access all channels on the patchbay. This desk is over 40 years old and has expected issues. It includes the full manual and some extra channels.

I believe this is the largest configuration these consoles were made in. It is a a great desk and has an awesome vibe to it. I am only selling to make room for another console I've been rebuilding.
