Hi!
This is my American Vintage II '61 strat bought in 2025/7. I've spent $500+ for professional level setup job done by the finest Luthier in town - Gryphon String, receipt attached. Setup includes a neck relief tune and a re-fret to ensure action is nice and low with great intonation, as well as a slight sand down of the glossy neck to ensure smooth playing. Electronics are cleaned too. With this order, G&G vintage-style black leather case is also included.
I want to be as candid as possible, as shown in the picture, there is a small scratch mark on the back as well as a slight dent on the side (barely noticeable). Regardless, this strat plays really well - reason for sell is I need to make room for my new acquisition (or else angry wife). So please, serious buyer only. Thank you in advance.

Key Features & Tone Details
Pure Vintage '61 Tone The heart of this guitar's sound lies in its meticulously crafted Pure Vintage '61 single-coil pickups. They perfectly capture the sweet, bell-like tone of an original 1961 Stratocaster—offering enhanced clarity, a touch more output than '54 pickups, and incredible dynamic sensitivity. Whether you are chasing surf music shimmer or expressive blues bite, these pickups respond beautifully to your touch.
Thick Slab Rosewood Fingerboard A hallmark of the early-'60s golden era, the substantial slab rosewood fingerboard is a favorite among vintage enthusiasts. Unlike later, thinner veneer boards, this thick slab adds a distinct warmth and complexity to the guitar's overall voice while providing a premium, smooth playing surface.
Olympic White Nitrocellulose Finish The stunning Olympic White nitro lacquer finish is true to 1961 specs. Because nitrocellulose is much thinner than modern polyurethane, it allows the alder body to resonate and breathe naturally. Over time, this finish will gracefully develop its own unique patina and age into a gorgeous, creamy vintage white—just like the originals.
True Vintage Appointments No shortcuts were taken in honoring the 1961 original. From the exact hardware finishes and vintage-style tuners to the precise neck carve and traditional fret wire, this guitar is a faithful, spec-correct recreation built with modern quality control.
