Marantz Model 2238B 38-Watt Stereo Solid-State Receiver 1977 - 1979 - Silver in Very Good condition

Serviced: Cleaned all pots and put in an LED light kit. Fully tested and works great.

Cosmetic: Faceplate is in good condition with some minor scratches and small black marks (see photos 1-3). The chassis shows minimal to moderate scratches. Backplate is in Very good condition ;the RCA jacks are corrosion free (see photos 6-10).

Produced during the golden era of hi-fi (1977–1979), this unit delivers 38 conservative, high-current watts per channel. Do not let the wattage fool you; it easily drives demanding speakers with that signature warm, punchy, and detailed Marantz sound.

This unit is in Very Good condition. The iconic silver faceplate is exceptionally clean, the chassis is solid, and the gyro-touch tuning wheel glides smoothly across the dial. The dial face glows beautifully with the new LED light kit Marantz blue illumination.
