This Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Axcess Custom is a modern evolution of a classic, combining high-end Custom Shop craftsmanship with player-focused performance upgrades. Finished in a stunning Charcoal Widow Burst gloss, this example features a hand-selected AAA figured maple top over a weight-relieved mahogany body, delivering both visual impact and enhanced comfort.
This guitar is part of an extremely limited Dealer Select run, with only 2 guitars produced in this configuration, making it a highly exclusive piece for collectors and players alike.
Built with the Axcess platform, this guitar offers a contoured heel for effortless upper fret access along with a sleek, fast-playing Apex neck profile. The ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays provides a smooth, premium feel, while the reinforced headstock design adds durability.
Tonally, this Les Paul is equipped with a 496R neck pickup and 498T bridge pickup, both with 4-conductor wiring. The push/pull tone controls allow for series/parallel switching, giving you a wide range of tones—from thick, high-output humbucker sounds to more articulate, single-coil-like clarity.
Premium hardware includes a historic-style ABR-1 bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and Grover Keystone tuners, all in a clean nickel finish. The guitar comes strung with standard 10–46 gauge strings and is ready to perform right out of the case.
