This is the Coleman TB4 mk II studio monitor controller. You can find the functional design details elsewhere but I'll describe my particular unit.
Pristine, mint unbelievable! Usually I pull these things out of the rack where they've been housed and ...scratches on the top and bottom. This one - near nothing, maybe a 1 mm knick or 2? Even the rack mount holes are clean.
This thing works as it did the day I bought it - never a single issue. I've included the mic it came with - however, I never used it so I can't vouch for it or it's working order. Never even unwrapped the cord.
I'm asking a lot for it. I remember Glen Coleman telling me at an AES show the switches themselves are super expensive - enough that I believe he had to end production.
If you like this kind of bullet-proof equipment (and there aren't many pieces that fit that category "built like a tank" - my ass!), this ones a winner.
