First released in 2016, the TransAcoustic Guitar is an innovative acoustic guitar that features Yamaha's TransAcoustic technology, which combines authentic acoustic sound with digital technology for advanced features. String vibrations are converted into electrical signals, which undergo effects processing before being delivered to actuator inside the guitar. These vibrations are then transmitted to the guitar, allowing the actual and processed sounds to resonate together and produce natural sound with rich effects.
