Dunlop Akira Takasaki Cry Baby Fuzz Wah Overview

The Dunlop Akira Takasaki Cry Baby Fuzz Wah is a signature pedal built to match the fast, expressive playing style of Loudness guitarist Akira Takasaki. It combines a custom-voiced wah circuit with a switchable fuzz, allowing players to move between classic sweep tones and saturated lead sounds without changing pedals. The wah features a tuned low-frequency sweep that keeps the response full and musical, especially on lower strings and neck pickup settings.

Designed for live performance, this pedal includes auto-return switching, engaging the effect only while your foot is on the rocker. The onboard fuzz circuit can be dialed in from subtle grit to aggressive saturation using the sensitivity control, while internal controls allow further adjustment of volume and wah decay. LED indicators clearly show when the wah or fuzz circuits are active, keeping operation simple on stage.
