Eminence EUB Upright Bass 2012

For Sale – 2012 Eminence EUB Electric Upright Bass in excellent condition. Fixed neck with position markers, Realist pick-up. Stand, removable waist extension and soft gig bag are included.

I purchased this instrument new in 2012. It is an acoustic instrument with a bassbar and sound post. The neck is almost identical to a standard double bass neck in scale and thickness. Unamplified, the bass has a soft mid-range tone but the bass was designed to be played with an amplifier and is equipped with a Realist pickup. This bass is strung with La Bella Nylon Tapewounds, which yield a rich, balanced tone for pizzicato playing. The bass can be re-strung for arco playing.

Over 10 years, I played this bass on fewer than 100 gigs and used it mostly at home for practice and informal sessions with friends. I usually played the bass seated (like a cello), but the telescoping endpin provides good support for playing while standing or sitting on a high stool. Other than a couple of minor nicks (see photos), the bass is in excellent condition.
