Stunningly gorgeous vintage 2006 Gibson ES-355 Cherry Red in excellent, hardly played condition. I purchased this guitar brand new in 2006. I have only played it in my home studio, never gigged out. Therefore, it is in exceptional condition for a 20 year old guitar. All electronics and controls function as they should. No major dings, digs, or scratches to report. The only change I made was to swap out the stock black top hat knobs for Gibson gold top hat knobs with inserts a la Keith Richards. The original black knobs are included if you want to put the guitar back to factory spec. I just thought the gold knobs matched the rest of the hardware, thereby giving it an even more elegant look. This guitar weighs in at 9 lbs., 8 ozs. Plays like a dream, sounds fierce, and don't forget the versatility of the Bigsby to add that subtle shimmer, surf-rock warble, or gentle vibrato to the end of a decaying chord. This guitar was manufactured at the Gibson Memphis facility and represents the pinnacle of the ES thin-line series. Comes with original hardshell case also in excellent condition.

• The Bigsby / Vibrato Version: Often built as a '59 reissue or standard Custom run, these models come equipped with a factory Bigsby tailpiece, highly reminiscent of the classic cherry red ES-355 played by Keith Richards.
