Powers Electric A-Type Select Washed Cherry / Garnet Red w/softcase B467

The Powers Electric A-Type Select takes the core feel and responsiveness of the standard A-Type platform and pushes it further with elevated woods, finishes, and visual appointments. This example pairs a figured maple top in Washed Cherry Sunburst with a gloss Garnet Red back, creating a build that feels rooted in classic American guitar design while still looking distinctly modern.

Fitted with PF42 pickups, this version leans into a slightly fuller, more focused response while maintaining the dynamic touch sensitivity the A-Type platform is known for. The CamTail bridge system keeps the feel expressive and elastic under the picking hand, while the ivoroid pickup covers and matching pickguard give the guitar a more vintage-inspired visual warmth.

The gloss finish highlights the depth and movement of the maple top while contrasting beautifully against the rich Garnet Red body.
