This is a 2024 Fender MIM Mike Mcready Signature Strat. I’ve used it for the last couple of years as one of my main Strats. Great weight 7.5 pounds. Lovely dark slab rosewood board.
Over that time I have upgraded a few things as listed below.
-Pick Ups: This has a set of Mark Foleys Lone Star series Number one Pick ups. Pure pre CBS strat tone with that SRV sparkle!
-King tone SRV switch: This nifty little
Switch sits in the rear tone control and fattens up the strat single coil sound. Taking off some of the top end and boating out the mids. Works insanely well with tube screamers and drives.
-Upgraded vintage accurate Pick guard, professionally aged 62 pick guard from Charlie Chandlers guitar experience.
All the wiring has been carried out and installed by a professional guitar luthier with CTS 250K pots, 0.5 paper in oil tone cap and fender pure vintage cloth wiring. Its structurally sound and plays/ sounds great. Currently it’s set up in E-flat with 11’s on. Only selling to fund a new project. This is a top example of this run of guitars. I tried a total of 6 of these and this was hands down the best.
