If you’re a designer, or work in any field where you need to communicate and agree upon color, you will recognize, and possibly, love this direction. I combined color chips from an inaugural 1963 Pantone Color Matching System chip book with a Telecaster-style guitar and arrived at THE PANTELE guitar! All of the genuine 1963 Pantone color chips on this guitar body were hand applied one-at-a-time. Then sealed with 12 layers of clear coat and polished.

Included with the Pantele is a 20 X 48” wall-mount structure created with postcard-sized color chips to reinforce the overall theme when displaying the guitar. All in all, this piece offers infinite combinations of sound and color. So You’re definitely not restricted to the blues – play the entire rainbow.

• Play It or Display It!

It’s functional art! The premier focus of my builds is playability. I never sacrifice musical functionality for concept. This guitar is comprised of high-quality parts with acute attention to detail, construction, and setup. However, when it’s not being heard, it deserves to be seen. So play it or display it. That said, its visual uniqueness is, by no means, an afterthought – it’s part of the overall concept – to combine guitars with art. I’m not trying to completely reinvent the wheel here – simply offer some new and interesting ways to “Roll” – and, of course, “Rock.”

• This Is Not A Factory Build!

I’m no Henry Ford. Never wanted to be. I’m just one guy in a garage in Texas who builds 6-8 pieces a year for musicians and collectors, like you, by combining guitars with art to offer instruments as unique as the music you create, and/or, appreciate.

• The Only One Of Its Kind

I just created one of these. If you’re looking for 1 of 5,000 of something, this isn’t it. Is it a collector piece? Absolutely. But there’s no need for kid gloves. Well beyond its uniqueness, It’s a solid, well-constructed guitar primarily created to be played. So, by all means, PLAY THE HELL OUT OF IT!

PICKUPS: Tele-style single coil pickups for neck and bridge. Pickup covers have been customized to enhance the theme

BRIDGE: Customized Tele-style ”Ash tray” bridge plate w/ customized barrel saddles

TUNING MACHINES: Customized tuning machines w/ color details on keys and peg washers

ELECTRONICS: Fender® 3-Way Switch, CTS 250K Pots (X2), .047uf Tone Cap, Pure Tone® Output Jack, Vintage Cloth Wiring on Main Components, Full Shielding in all cavities

HARDWARE: All parts have been customized to match Pantone theme including pickup, control and neck plates, selector switch, volume & tone knobs, and tuning machines

THE ART & FINISH: Genuine 1963 Pantone Color chips Hand-Assembled and Finished in CrystaLac® Brite Tone.
