Ludwig Black Beauty 6.5x14 brass snare drum with smooth black nickel shell, tube lugs, and original hardware. Monroe, NC USA production.
Excellent overall condition with very clean black nickel plating throughout. Shell, hardware, and bearing edges are all exceptionally clean with no issues structurally or mechanically. Throwoff functions smoothly and the drum has been carefully stored in a smoke-free studio environment.
This is the more desirable tube lug configuration with the smooth brass shell. Sensitive, articulate drum with plenty of body and projection while still retaining the classic Black Beauty character.
