Martin took a solid torrefied spruce top, thermally aging it to unlock the rich, resonant, and harmonically complex tone of a prized vintage instrument. This isn't just a new guitar; it's a time machine for tone, delivering that perfectly broken-in sound without the 50-year wait. Paired with a solid mahogany back and sides, this dreadnought belts out that classic, punchy Martin voice with warmth and clarity—perfect for driving a bluegrass jam or backing a heartfelt vocal.Vintage Heart, Modern FeelWhile the tone is pure vintage, the feel is all about modern playability. The DE Retro Plus is built with Martin's acclaimed PA (Performing Artist) Profile neck with a High-Performance Taper. It’s a slim, comfortable shape that feels immediately familiar and just begs for long playing sessions. Whether you're chording down low or bending strings up high on the ebony fingerboard, this neck is designed for speed and comfort, eliminating hand fatigue and letting you focus on the music.Ready for the StageThis isn't just a studio or living room strummer—it's built to perform. Outfitted with Martin E1 electronics, the DE Retro Plus is ready to plug in and play any stage, from the local open mic to a festival main stage. The onboard system faithfully captures the guitar's natural acoustic resonance, giving you a powerful and consistent tone that cuts through the mix. With a full gloss body, classic Style 18 appointments, and that iconic script logo on the headstock, it looks every bit as good as it sounds.Key reasons why your next instrument should come from Moore Guitars:- Moore Guitars is a Top 300 Seller by Reverb and a Top 100 Music Retailer by NAMM!
