Owned this guitar for the last year but unfortunately havent been able to play due to an injury. Been in case, in closet, so essentially in mint condition beside the custom shop aging. One of the lighter Telecasters I ever owned. Comes with some upgrades, but have all original parts in the case.

This is Willcutt Guitars and Fender Custom Shop's fourth "Vault" recreation — the Blackguard '54 Telecaster, based on their original 1954 Tele (SN 2826), one of the rarest early-'54 examples ever documented. As with previous Vault editions (the True '62, "Gloria" Tele, and the '63), this tribute is built to exacting standards: lightest-available ash body, Josefina hand-wound pickups matched to the original, custom early-'54 body contours, and a replica pickguard faithfully cloned from the source instrument. The original serial number, 2826, is stamped on the bridge plate. Light Relic aging. Custom Blonde finish. This example features the 57 Style Soft "V" neck carve (.850"–.990").

Upgrades (all original parts included)
I've upgraded this guitar from stock with parts that significantly improve playability and tone for recording. All original hardware ships with the guitar in the case:

• Neck pickup: Ron Ellis "Julian Lage" Standard Plus JL — a phenomenal hand-wound single-coil built for neck position Tele work. Original Custom Shop Josefina neck pickup included in case if you want to swap back.
• Bridge & hardware: Glendale Raw Deal "Top-Loader" Blackguard bridge — original no-cut bridge plate, aged to match the guitar. All original Fender Custom Shop hardware included.

Condition
Excellent. Light relic from the factory; no player wear beyond what Fender applied. The Glendale bridge shows appropriate aging consistent with the guitar's finish.
