For sale is a very nice Shure Beta 58 from the 1980s, which served as an upgrade over the classic 58 delivering a hotter output. The grille was cleaned, and new foam was installed, it's in excellent shape and ready for use. The only thing you'll find on the grille is some very light signs of wear that comes with use but it looks great especially given its age. The super cardioid polar pattern offers a tight pickup, perfect for vocals but it can be employed elsewhere. To my ears the original Beta 58 offers a much more pleasant sound compared to the new 58A.
If you've wanted to try a Beta 58, this one is a perfect example of a good working one!
