Up for sale is a custom-built Hendrix-inspired Stratocaster style Partscaster finished in classic Olympic White nitrocellulose lacquer. This guitar was carefully designed as a tribute to the iconic late-’60s Jimi Hendrix aesthetic and tone, while still retaining the comfort and playability of a right-handed instrument.

The body was handmade and custom routed to accommodate both a left-handed tremolo orientation and a reverse-angle left-handed bridge pickup position, capturing the visual vibe and tonal character associated with Hendrix’s famous upside-down Strats. The guitar also features a relic’d left-handed Licensed Fender Mighty Mite neck with the unmistakable reversed headstock look and tasteful worn-in mojo.

Electronics are powered by a premium set of Seymour Duncan Jimi Hendrix Signature pickups. These pickups are specifically voiced to recreate the clear yet aggressive tone associated with Hendrix’s late-’60s Stratocasters. Seymour Duncan designed this set with period-correct output, vintage-style cloth push-back wiring, staggered Alnico 5 magnets, and a reverse-angle bridge pickup orientation to help deliver tighter lows, sparkling highs, enhanced string clarity, and the distinctive attack and response heard on many classic Hendrix recordings. The bridge pickup especially benefits from the reversed slant, yielding a slightly fuller high-string response and tighter bass articulation.

The nitro finish was hand-applied and lightly aged for a vintage-inspired appearance. As with many hand-finished nitro guitars, there are a few small cosmetic imperfections including very slight finish wear and minor orange peel visible in certain lighting, none of which affects playability or performance. Overall, the guitar has an excellent broken-in character that fits the vibe of the instrument extremely well.
