Based on the serial number on the back of the headstock and the original tag included with the instrument,

we have received a 1961 ES-335 manufactured in 2018!!

The ES-335 is a classic semi-hollow body guitar model that enjoys high popularity among artists across all genres.

It is famous for being favored by renowned musicians such as Eric Clapton and Eric Carlton.

This guitar skillfully expresses both the richness and subtlety of sound derived from the natural resonance unique to a traditional semi-hollow body.

The guitar we’ve just received was crafted at the now-closed Memphis factory.

Established in 2000 as the production hub for the ES series, the Gibson Memphis Factory—

after operating under the Custom Shop—became an independent division,

releasing a rich variety of ES series models, including Historic Series, Contemporary models,

and Signature models.

It recreates the transitional specifications that combined the body style of the '58/'59 models with the slim-taper neck of the '63 model.

It features the early “Mouse Ear” body style.

The pickups, which are key to the sound, are MHS Humbuckers.

This guitar has excellent resonance, and the sound through an amp is natural,

faithfully reproducing the player’s touch.

There are some minor scratches and small dents from playing,

but since it originally had a VOS finish, they are barely noticeable.

The back of the neck has developed a slight sheen from playing.

The frets and nut retain a height close to that of a brand-new guitar.

The truss rod can be adjusted by turning it left or right; currently, the neck shows no significant warping.
