I bought this guitar about a year ago as a project guitar and I've added some nice upgrades. For starters, it has Hipshot locking tuners, chrome pickup rings, chrome knobs, and a pair of Guitar Madness 1984 humbuckers already installed. The action is a little high and this will need a fret level (or new nut; I think the slots on the original might be worn down too low) in order to achieve really low, even action. Fairly easy stuff if you're already handy with guitars. This has one of the nicest and thinnest Ibanez necks that I've played and if you're looking for a somewhat utilitarian shred machine this is a hard one to beat! I've got too many guitars and just bought a Kiesel, so I need to thin out the herd a bit.
