Up for sale is a 1962 Gibson ES-120T vintage hollowbody electric guitar in its original sunburst finish, complete with a vintage Gibson case.
This is a fantastic lightweight early ‘60s Gibson player, weighing in at just 5.5 lbs, with loads of vintage character and that dry, resonant hollowbody feel these old thinlines are known for.
The guitar retains its original floating rosewood bridge, original Kluson tuners, original finish, and original Gibson pickup (included and confirmed working). At some point, a previous owner installed an 1980s Epiphone / OBL blade-style pickup, which is what is currently fitted in the guitar. The original pickup is included in the sale, making this an easy reversible change for the next owner if desired.
Cosmetically, this guitar shows honest vintage wear consistent with age:
finish checking throughout
pickguard scratching / normal handling wear
headstock edge wear and small chips
oxidation / patina on metal hardware
general cosmetic wear from decades of use
Structurally, the guitar presents well with a solid neck joint and original floating bridge setup.
Includes:
1962 Gibson ES-120T
original working Gibson pickup
installed Epiphone / OBL blade pickup
vintage Gibson case
A wonderful player-grade vintage Gibson that would be equally at home in a collection, studio, or regular rotation.
