Milkman Dairy Air 30W Amp Head
- Circuit Concept: Built by hand in San Francisco by Tim Marcus using custom turret boards and cloth-covered wiring.
- Tonal Focus: Intentionally omits built-in reverb and tremolo circuits to fit high-wattage power into a compact, lightweight 15 lb enclosure. It acts as a perfect "fly-amp" or portable pedal platform.
- Tube & Power Architecture: Rated at 30 watts, utilizing two 6L6 power tubes for a thick, warm, American-style clean tone. It can also accept 6V6 power tubes to drop the output wattage down to 20 watts.
- Controls: Minimalist top-panel interface featuring standard Volume, Treble, Middle, and Bass controls.
- Output Impedance: Features multi-tap 4, 8, and 16-ohm outputs on the back panel to accommodate a wide variety of cabinet configurations.
Matching Milkman 2x12 Extension Cabinet
- Construction: Lightweight solid pine enclosure wrapped in sleek Vanilla Tolex with an oxblood or beige grill cloth.
- Portability Features: Includes a recessed top handle that sits completely flush. This design allows the Dairy Air head to rest flat on top without rocking.
- Speaker Configurations: Typically configured as an 8-ohm parallel load utilizing two 50W 16-ohm Jupiter speakers. You can verify availability or purchase versions like the Jupiter Ceramic configuration at Guitar Center or Musician's Friend.
