Zildjian - Tris Imboden's, Chicago 18" Oriental Series, Classic China Cymbal 1128g (TI Z #18)
Tris Imboden was a Zildjian endorser during his earlier peak session/touring years. He started playing and endorsing Zildjian cymbals in 1981 and continued with them until 2007. During this period he performed and recorded with dozens of A-list artists including Kenny Logins, Peter Cetera and Chicago.
The Zildjian Oriental Trash Splash is quick and aggressive. Its thin construction and irregular shaping produce a fast response with a distinctly “trashy” tonal character.
Here's a sweet Zildjian 18" Oriental Classic China Cymbal owned and used by longtime Chicago drummer Tris Imboden. Weighing an ultra-thin 1128 grams, this cymbal responds instantly with explosive trash, dark shimmer, and fast decay. The Oriental Series delivers aggressive China effect without overwhelming wash.
The cymbal remains in near new condition. No issues. Mostly just some of Tris' fingerprints.
