This is a hand-made drum from Ghana. I believe it is called a "kagan" (but I could be wrong). I bought it earlier this year at Motherland Music in Los Angeles.
I liked it's warm tone and light weight (it only weighs 7 pounds). It's 20 inches tall and the drum head is 8 inches across.
