The Taylor Gold Label 817e Honduran Rosewood Sunburst is a deeper-bodied Grand Pacific design that leans into a classic slope-shoulder feel while introducing modern refinements. Its torrefied Sitka spruce top and Honduran rosewood back and sides create a wide, expressive voice with clear highs, strong low-end presence, and a warm, balanced response across the spectrum. The added body depth enhances projection and low-end extension, giving it a fuller, more open character.
Taylor’s Fanned V-Class bracing, paired with hot hide glue construction, improves sustain and note consistency while maintaining a natural, responsive feel. The long-tenon Action Control Neck allows for easy playability adjustments, and the LR Baggs Element VTC system makes it ready for stage or studio use. Thoughtful visual details and premium materials round out a build that blends traditional inspiration with modern performance.
