Demo of actual unit on Imgur: Just go to the website with a forward slash and add s1mRgT1

From the year 1960 (Serial No. PHO (headphones) 6012207) is a beautiful, fully functioning Kudelski Nagra III reel-to-reel tape machine. All functions including record, play, stop, rewind and fast-forward work. The unit has been meticulously cleaned, the rubber seals have been conditioned and all applicable parts oiled. The unit is in overall excellent visual condition, considering it's 60+ years old, but the bottom does have the obvious scuffs and scratches since it lacks rubber feet to lift it. Similarly, the protective plastic case is scratched as well. None of the potentiometers crackle, the motor runs true, and the capstan holds the tape flawlessly.

Included accessories:

  • original power supply
  • 1 metal take-up reel
  • Sennheiser (KAT 15-2) XLR-to-Tuchel microphone pre-amp
  • leather carrying strap
  • vintage Robins' Gibson Girl tape splicer
  • Frankenstein'd banana-to-1/4" cable
  • 1/4"-to-3.5mm adapter
  • XLR cable
  • 2x Nakamichi banana plugs for future cable making
